Our Story

"PapaDeaux"

The Flyest Farm family's story started in Lansing, Michigan where the founders met in Law School. After years practicing law in South Florida, the two packed up and moved to Southwest Georgia. Lovers of aviation and owners of a 1966 Piper PA-24-260B "Comanche", the founders noticed that the entire region's adoption of unmanned aerial vehicles was sorely behind the rest of the nation and world. The founders used Drones extensively during their litigation practice. So after the move North to the South, "Flyest Farm" was born. "Flyest" because of their love for aviation and use of aerial vehicles, and "Farm" because of their work with and desire to develop a working farm.

Let us get you going

To be able to fly your drone "LEGALLY" you will need the following:

1. FAA Part 107 - Drone (UAS) license,

2. FAA Part 137 - Agricultural Aircraft Operator Certificate. The AAOC is the legal permit required to use aircraft—including spray drones—to dispense chemicals, fertilizers, or seeds for "agricultural purposes."

3. 44807 Exemption to your Part 137 - to operate an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) over 55lbs.

4. Class 3 medical - For those operating under a 44807 exemption for compensation

Of all of these, the 44807 exemption process is the longest and most challenging. It is this paperwork that defeats most aspiring Drone Sprayers because the FAA will make you repeat your paperwork if it is not done correctly the first time. Some applicants have been waiting for years to get their exemptions approved. As former litigators we can cut your submission time to mere months.

It doesn't matter where you purchased your drone, we can get your paperwork completed and filed quickly so you can get out there making money.

Stay tuned. Flyest Farm just might be in the works of UAS system designed and operated by us.
